Orlando Pirates have officially bolstered their attacking options with the acquisition of dynamic winger Kamogelo Sebelebele from TS Galaxy, marking their 10th signing of the current transfer window.
The Soweto giants confirmed the deal on Sunday, adding yet another young and versatile talent to their squad ahead of what promises to be a busy 2025/26 campaign across multiple competitions.
Sebelebele, 22, arrives at Pirates after an impressive 2024/25 season with TS Galaxy, where he made his mark with consistent performances on the flanks. His stellar showing at the recent COSAFA Cup, where he was named Man of the Match and included in the Team of the Tournament, further cemented his status as one of the brightest emerging talents in South African football.
While his primary position is on the wing, Sebelebele has also proven his ability to operate in deeper wide roles, giving head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou more tactical flexibility as the season unfolds.
Pirates confirmed that the player will not join the squad’s pre-season camp in Spain, but will instead remain in Johannesburg to continue preparations with locally-based players.
His arrival comes at a crucial time, with the club aiming to compete on all fronts, including the Betway Premiership, MTN8, Nedbank Cup, Carling Knockout, and the CAF Champions League.
The move also follows the departure of fellow winger Mohau Nkota, and Sebelebele is expected to play a key role in filling that void on the right side of attack.
This signing is yet another statement of intent from the Buccaneers as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for both domestic and continental honours.
