Kaizer Chiefs have officially unveiled 25-year-old Nkanyiso Shinga as their latest addition ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
Shinga, a versatile left-back who brings not only defensive strength but also the ability to contribute in midfield and attacking positions, has put pen to paper with Amakhosi. The Soweto giants confirmed the move on Tuesday morning with the club proudly welcoming the dynamic player to Naturena.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year old Nkanyiso Shinga. The talented left-back is a versatile operator who can also play in midfield and attack. He will don jersey #74. Welcome to the Family,” read the club’s statement.
Known for his high energy, overlapping runs, and technical awareness, Shinga is expected to add depth and creativity on the left flank — a position Chiefs have struggled to consistently lock down in recent seasons. His ability to slot into different roles will provide the coach with tactical flexibility throughout a long campaign.
While details of the contract length remain undisclosed, the signing signals Chiefs’ intention to return to winning ways, and Shinga will be hoping to make an instant impact during pre-season.
With Shinga now officially on board, the Amakhosi faithful will be eager to see how he adapts to life in the Premier Soccer League and whether he can become a key piece in the club’s revival project.
