Transfer News

Paris FC have made a bold statement ahead of their return to Ligue 1 by announcing the signing of Nigerian international Moses Simon from FC Nantes.

The 29-year-old winger has signed a three-year contract with the newly promoted club, keeping him in the French capital until June 2028. The move adds valuable top-flight experience and attacking depth to a Paris FC side preparing for their first season in Ligue 1 since 1979.

Simon arrives after a successful six-year spell at FC Nantes, where he established himself as one of Ligue 1’s most dynamic wide players. He made over 200 appearances for the Canaries, contributing consistently with goals and assists, and played a key role in their 2022 Coupe de France triumph.

Paris FC’s sporting director François Ferracci hailed the signing as a major milestone in the club’s development.

“Moses brings with him quality, leadership, and experience at the highest level. He was one of our key targets for this transfer window, and we are proud to welcome him to Paris FC.”

The Nigerian star, who has represented the Super Eagles in multiple international tournaments, expressed his excitement about the new chapter in his career.

“I am happy to join a club with big ambition and a clear vision. Paris FC’s project really appealed to me, and I look forward to contributing on and off the pitch.”

Simon joins a growing list of signings as Paris FC, recently backed by Red Bull and the Arnault family, continue to strengthen their squad in preparation for the 2025/26 Ligue 1 campaign. His arrival is expected to provide a major boost to the club’s attacking options, bringing pace, creativity, and experience to their frontline.
