Liverpool Football Club have officially confirmed the signing of highly-rated Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from AFC Bournemouth. The 21-year-old defender joins the Premier League giants on a long-term contract, becoming the latest addition under manager Arne Slot’s ambitious summer rebuild.
Kerkez, who impressed last season with consistent performances and attacking flair down the left flank, has now completed his move after successfully undergoing a medical at the club’s AXA Training Centre earlier this week.
Speaking in his first interview as a Liverpool player, Kerkez described the move as a dream come true.
“It’s a real honour for me. I’ve always admired Liverpool — the history, the fans, and the passion are all world-class. I can’t wait to start this journey and give everything for the badge,” he said.
The former AZ Alkmaar and Bournemouth player is known for his pace, stamina, and technical ability, qualities that have quickly earned him attention across Europe. His arrival is expected to add fresh competition to Liverpool’s left-back position, currently held by Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas.
Manager Arne Slot welcomed the new addition, highlighting Kerkez as a key part of the club’s long-term vision.

The Hungarian international is expected to feature in Liverpool’s upcoming pre-season fixtures, starting with a match against Preston on July 13.
