Matchday 2 of the 10th Edition of the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation Tournament delivered another thrilling round of youth football action at the vibrant Khotso Grounds in Phiri, Soweto. With young talents stepping up and passionate support from the community, the tournament continues to grow in energy and excitement.

Matchday 2 Results

Game 1 – Under 15
MM Stars 1-0 KVK Academy
Rising youngster Andile Mchunu stole the show with a decisive goal that sealed victory for MM Stars in the opening match of the day. It was a high-intensity battle that saw both sides creating chances, but MM Stars held firm to claim the win.

Game 2 – Under 20 (1st Leg)
Killarey 0-0 Dube Continental
A cagey encounter with both teams showcasing strong defensive structures. Despite several opportunities on either end, neither side could break the deadlock as the match ended in a goalless draw.

Game 3 – Under 20 (1st Leg)
White City Spurs 1-1 Orlando Preston Brothers FC
Two sharp goal scorers lit up the pitch in this fiercely contested draw. Senzo Tsele found the net for White City Spurs and Sibonelo Sithebe found the net for  Orlando Preston Brothers FC.

Game 4 – Under 20 (1st Leg)
Pimville FC 0-2 Orlando West Academy
Orlando West Academy showed composure and finishing quality as they cruised past Pimville FC. Goals from Hamashe Mlambo and Nkosinathi Mwale secured a convincing 2-0 victory, keeping their momentum alive in the tournament.
