Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal is making the most of his off-season by spending time in Brazil with his childhood idol, Neymar.

After a successful season with FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, the 17-year-old winger has taken a well-deserved break in Brazil. During his vacation, Yamal has been spotted engaging in various activities, including playing footvolley with Neymar on the beaches of São Paulo. Neymar shared a video of their friendly match on his Instagram story, showcasing the duo’s skills and camaraderie.

In addition to his time with Neymar, Yamal has been learning to surf under the guidance of three-time world champion Gabriel Medina. The young footballer was seen at the Beyond The Club surf spot in São Paulo, donning a wetsuit and preparing for his first surfing lessons. Medina, a close friend of Neymar, has been hosting Yamal during his stay in Brazil.

Yamal’s admiration for Neymar is well-known; he has often cited the Brazilian forward as his footballing inspiration. This meeting marks a significant moment for the Barcelona prodigy, who has previously expressed his desire to connect with his idol.

As Yamal continues to enjoy his holiday, fans eagerly await his return to Spain, where he will resume training with FC Barcelona ahead of the upcoming season.
