Botswana Premier League side Matebele FC has announced the appointment of South African football legend Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane as their new head coach. The club confirmed that Letsholonyane has signed a two-year contract, taking charge of the team ahead of the new season.
Letsholonyane is widely recognized for his successful playing career, having starred as a midfielder for Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana. Following his retirement, he transitioned into coaching, gaining valuable experience with AmaZulu FC’s DStv Diski Challenge team. He also holds a CAF A Licence, one of the highest coaching qualifications in African football.
The appointment reflects Matebele FC’s ambition to strengthen their technical team and develop a competitive squad for the top-flight league.
