The result extends the Maroons’ unbeaten league run to six matches, while TS Galaxy, who had endured a five-match losing streak, earned a crucial point on the road to halt their slump.
Rockets Take Flight Early, Stellies Shell-Shocked
TS Galaxy could not have asked for a better start. Just 45 seconds into the match, Junior Zindoga stunned the home crowd with a well-taken goal. A sharp cross-shot from Victor Letsoalo forced a fingertip save from Sage Stephens, but the rebound fell kindly to Zindoga, who fired home to give the visitors a quick 1-0 lead. Stellenbosch struggled to find their rhythm early in the game, failing to break down a disciplined Galaxy defense. They were fortunate to go into the break just one goal behind after Mpho Mvelase rounded Stephens, but Mosa Lebusa produced a crucial goal-line clearance to keep the Maroons in the game.
