Inter Miami CF and Brazil’s Palmeiras have officially qualified for the knockout stages of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup following a dramatic 2–2 draw in their final Group A clash.
Played in front of a lively crowd at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the match saw Inter Miami take a commanding 2–0 lead before Palmeiras fought back with two late goals to top the group on goal difference.
Tadeo Allende opened the scoring for Miami with a composed finish in the 16th minute, before Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez rolled back the years with a vintage solo goal in the 65th minute that doubled their advantage.
