Chippa United midfielder Ayabulela Konqobe has officially been awarded the Betway Premiership Goal of the Month for March 2026. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirmed the news yesterday, marking the player’s first monthly accolade of the 2025/26 season.

Konqobe’s award-winning goal came during a high-stakes encounter against Magesi FC on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The match, held at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane, saw Konqobe break the deadlock in the 42nd minute.
Receiving a precise pass from teammate Bongi Sam, Konqobe unleashed a thunderous, long-range strike from well outside the penalty area. The sheer power and precision of the shot left Magesi goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze with no chance, placing the ball firmly into the back of the net.
Match Context
Konqobe’s stunning strike initially gave the “Chilli Boys” a 1-0 lead heading into halftime, which was later doubled by Somila Ntsundwana. However, despite Konqobe’s moment of brilliance, Chippa United eventually settled for a 2-2 draw after Magesi FC staged a late second-half comeback.
