AmaZulu FC has officially confirmed the departure of several players as part of the club’s preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 Betway Premiership League season.
In a statement released on Friday, the club announced that the following players will not have their contracts renewed and will be leaving the Usuthu camp:

- Abbubaker Mobara
- Sandile Khumalo
- Mbongeni Gumede
- Kwanda Mngonyama
- Ramahlwe Mphahlele
- Thembela Sikhakhane
- Wayde Jooste
- Skhulile Manyoni
- Rowan Human
- Ethan Brooks
- Augustine Mulenga
- Msindisi Kunene
- Junior Dion
- Boniface Haba
AmaZulu FC Director of Football, Pedro Dias, thanked the departing players for their commitment and service to the club.
“I would like to thank all these individuals for their contributions to our club and community. We are grateful for the great moments we shared together. On behalf of everyone at AmaZulu FC, we wish them all the best in their future endeavours,” said Dias.
The club also confirmed the return of Etiosa Ighodaro and Sifiso Ngobeni to Mamelodi Sundowns FC following the end of their loan spells with AmaZulu.
“We extend our thanks to Etiosa and Sifiso for their efforts during their time with us and wish them success in their careers going forward,” added Dias.
In a key development, AmaZulu has accepted an offer from Orlando Pirates FC for the transfer of midfielder Tshepang Moremi. The player will now begin a new chapter in his professional journey.
“We wish Tshepang all the best as he embarks on a new chapter in his career,” said Dias.
AmaZulu FC assured supporters that the club is working hard behind the scenes to build a competitive squad and that announcements regarding new signings will be made soon through official club channels.
