The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) kicks off in Morocco from July 5 to July 26, showcasing Africa’s top 12 women’s national teams as they compete for continental glory. With elite talent, fierce rivalries, and passionate fanbases, this tournament is set to deliver unforgettable moments.


🏆 About WAFCON 2024

Hosted for the second consecutive time by Morocco, this 15th edition of WAFCON highlights the rapid growth and excitement in African women’s football. Matches will be played across world-class venues, including Rabat and Casablanca, as Morocco aims to claim their first-ever WAFCON title on home soil.

Twelve teams are split into three groups of four. The top two from each group, plus the two best third-placed teams, advance to the quarterfinals.
