Sekhukhune United Football Club has officially announced the departure of seven players following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. The Betway Premiership side confirmed the changes in a statement released on 1 July 2025, as the club begins reshaping its squad for the upcoming campaign.
Among the players leaving Babina Noko are goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua, defender Kamohelo Sithole, and midfielder Miguel Antonio Dias, whose contracts were not renewed by the club.
Meanwhile, Sipho Mbule and Katlego Otladisa return to their parent clubs following the expiration of their loan spells. Both players spent the 2024/25 season on loan and contributed during key moments but will now continue their careers elsewhere.
In addition, Sekhukhune United reached mutual separation agreements with two players – Congolese defender Alves Ngakosso and versatile midfielder Lindokuhle Mtshali – bringing their stints with the Limpopo-based outfit to a close.
The club expressed gratitude to all eight individuals for their service, stating:
“We thank each of them for their dedication and contribution to the club and wish them the best for the future.”
With pre-season preparations underway, Babina Noko is expected to make strategic moves in the transfer market as they look to build a competitive squad under the guidance of their technical team.
Fans will now be watching closely to see who will arrive to fill the gaps left by these departures.
