Gqeberha, 17 June 2025 — In a bold move ahead of the 2025/26 DStv Premiership season, Chippa United Football Club has confirmed the release of 18 players, marking one of the most significant squad overhauls in recent club history.
The club made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon, signaling a new chapter for the Eastern Cape-based side, fondly known as the Chilli Boys. As contracts expired at the end of the 2024/25 campaign, several familiar faces will be parting ways with the club.
