Argentina are preparing for another busy international window as La Albiceleste turn their attention to a fresh set of friendly matches.
After a demanding period on the international stage, the South American giants now have three fixtures lined up as they continue to build towards the next chapter of their national-team journey.
The upcoming matches will also give the coaching staff an opportunity to assess different players, experiment with tactical options and continue developing the squad ahead of future competitive challenges.
Argentina’s Upcoming Fixtures
Argentina are scheduled to face three different opponents between the end of September and the beginning of October.
Their first assignment comes on Wednesday, September 30, when they take on Bolivia in an international friendly. Kick-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM South African time.
Just three days later, Argentina will return to action against Burkina Faso on Saturday, October 3, with another 10:00 PM kick-off in South Africa.
The international window will then conclude with a meeting against Benin on Tuesday, October 6, also scheduled to start at 10:00 PM SAST.
The Road Ahead
These fixtures could prove useful for Argentina as the coaching staff continues to assess the squad and look at different combinations on the pitch.
The variety of opposition should also provide an interesting tactical test. Bolivia bring a familiar South American challenge, while Burkina Faso and Benin offer a different style of football from the African continent.
For Argentina, the focus will be more than simply getting results. These matches provide an opportunity to give players valuable international minutes, assess emerging options and maintain momentum as the team looks towards its next competitive chapter.
For supporters, meanwhile, the three fixtures offer another chance to watch one of international football’s biggest teams in action.
